Article Marketing for Life Coaches
If you are just starting out as a life coach and trying to market your services you may have considered options such as pay per click marketing or other forms of internet marketing, magazine advertising, life coaching stalls at exhibitions or direct mail.
One relatively low cost method of internet marketing which can drive traffic to your website and increase your ranking on Google and other search engines is to write your own life coaching articles, including a link to your website at the foot of the article and to submit them to article directories.
Two examples of large online article directories where you can submit an article to are www.articledashboard.com and www.ezinearticles.com
I also run my own website in the UK, called Life Coach Tips, which focuses specifically on the publication of life coaching articles and other articles on related issues such as relationship coaching, stress and anxiety management and career coaching.
Unfortunately at the time of writing I have had to close the directory to new submissions due to other priorities but you can get an idea of the kind of articles that people write for submission online by looking at the categories in that directory at: www.life-coach-tips.co.uk/article-categories.html.
Another well known directory for articles relating to self development is http://www.selfgrowth.com. They are continually developing their website and services and at the time of writing have a facility where you can register as an 'expert' in your specialist field and network with other life coaches or helping professionals.
