Marketing for Life Coaches
If you are just starting out as a life coach and trying to market your services you may have considered options such as pay per click marketing or other forms of internet marketing, magazine advertising, life coaching stalls at exhibitions or direct mail. One relatively low cost method of internet marketing which can drive traffic to your website and increase your ranking on Google and other search engines is to write your own life coaching articles, including a link to your website at the foot of the article and to submit them to article directories. One of the difficulties with this is that many of the article directory websites have an enormous number of articles on different subjects and are not particularly focused on life coaching or related services such as stress management or counselling or business coaching so they may not particularly attract people who are interested in life coaching.
I run one of the few websites in the UK, called Life Coach Tips, which focuses specifically on the publication of life coaching articles and other articles on related issues such as relationship coaching, stress and anxiety management and career coaching. In addition I run a free newsletter by email which has over 1000 active subscribers and I offer the opportunity for life coaches to submit articles to be featured in that.
